Darkroom's Conversion Rate Optimization Specialist is the keystone to our full-service growth model. Vital to the scalability of our e-commerce clients, our CRO Specialist will focus on increasing website conversion rates for clients using best practice in CRO optimization; conducting A/B tests, helping to build the process around the implementation of tests, providing reporting on tests, and working with Darkroom's designers, developers, and clients' internal teams to create the best results possible for our clients.
This job can be based in our Los Angeles office or remote, anywhere in the United States.
What you'll do:

  • Identify and set conversion rate KPIs for clients (or strive to exceed those provided by clients)
  • Evaluate conversion rates across the customer's journey through a site - from the first site visit to the conversion or site exit.
  • Identify and execute on opportunities to improve on-site conversion for clients
  • Work with clients and internal team to create optimization and A/B tests and continually measure their performance
  • Utilize data-driven test results and qualitative best practices to inform site design and development updates for clients
  • Manage high-level optimization strategy for clients on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Create reports for bi-weekly client presentations to track progress, evaluate test results, and modify testing and strategies as needed alongside Darkroom's internal team.


What you'll need to be successful:

  • Bachelor's Degree or similar equivalent experience.
  • MInimum 3 years of experience in e-commerce conversion rate optimization, including experience with A/B testing, landing page optimization, funnel development, and optimization strategy.
  • Strong work ethic, can operate effectively in a remote, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with platforms like Google Optimize, VWO, and Optimizely.
  • Deep understanding of current best practices for e-commerce CRO.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to think and communicate strategically, creatively, and analytically
  • High attention to detail, deadlines, and accuracy
