Job Description

We’re looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to manage Procore’s Marketplace software and services to ensure the interoperability of our clients’ ERP platforms. In this role, you’ll oversee the development of new and existing strategic ERP partners and lead Procore’s Global ERP integration strategy. 

In this strategic and tactical role, you’ll navigate integration priorities, agreements, and go-to-market through the entire partnership lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks, and communicating goals to project stakeholders. Your projects will span products, time zones, and hemispheres, and it's your job to keep all the players coordinated on progress and deadlines. Successful candidates will use their strong technical and business acumen skills to ensure business, financial, and strategic viability.

This position reports to our Senior Director of Global Partnerships & Alliances, Marketplace and can be based remotely from any US location. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of the key ERP and accounting system players globally in each region and across Procore client bases to inform a strategy

  • Optimize our integrations to ERP and Accounting systems globally, helping to identify, recruit, onboard, and deliver the most critical ERP integrations for our clients and prospects

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with technical services, financials product, product marketing, customer success, and sales to determine the best path to integrate with each ERP based on their respective impact 

  • Partner closely with the partner and product marketing teams and regional business development and partner managers to develop go-to-market channel strategies built specifically for ERP integrations globally

  • Help identify, contact, and qualify each ERP integration opportunity and develop a joint value proposition between Procore and ERP partners

  • Provide sales representatives and customer success teams at Procore and partner organizations with the information required to introduce integrated products to joint customers and prospects successfully

  • Articulate business use cases for ERP integration and translate to a product and development strategy

  • Source, structure, manage, and execute partnerships, including the negotiation of terms and working with our legal team to finalize contracts

  • Work closely with product, R&D, and marketing teams to message the value of ERP integrations internally and in-market to drive adoption and usage

  • 20% travel to partner sites, industry events, and other Procore offices

What we’re looking for:

  • 8+ years of relevant business development or integration strategy experience in a SaaS company, or project management in the construction industry or ERP

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent work experience

  • Deep understanding of the Construction industry, specifically around technology, ERP, or Financial Accounting Systems

  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, successfully execute multiple projects, and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision

  • Possess strong executive presence, relationship-building experience, and external communication skills

  • Ability to negotiate and execute technology partner relationships by leveraging cross-functional resources

  • Ability to manage contractual, operational, and financial details with partners to best represent Procore

  • Ability to create impactful presentations, and know-how and comfort of presenting to senior leadership in a concise and effective manner

  • Experience successfully managing and building strong working relationships with cross-functional teams internally and externally with executives at partner organizations
