Business Development Enablement Specialist
The Business Development (BD) Enablement Specialist is responsible for supporting the enablement of the Business Development team by coordinating and facilitating training for BDRs, supporting the development of scalable enablement programs, and assisting in the evaluation of the effectiveness and impact of enablement programs as well as BD practices and processes. The BD Enablement Specialist is primarily responsible for helping new BDRs ramp quickly and will dedicate most of their time to onboarding and coaching new BDRs.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development of and help facilitate the BDR onboarding and continuous learning programs (such as Friday Speaker Series) for the Business Development team
- Enable new BDRs by conducting orientation to Business Development and sales processes, developing individual coaching plans, and providing resources and assistance
- Continually coach and mentor BDRs during their first three months of employment
- Manage the BDR Mentorship program by matching mentees with tenured BDRs and partner with managers to evaluate impact
- Closely monitor and facilitate the BDR Matrix Program, including updating the BDR Matrix to coincide with updates to business goals and objectives as they pertain to Business Development and facilitating updates in SuccessFactors and assessments
- Drive the evaluation of the current BDR enablement program, help identify gaps, and assess alignment of enablement to Mid-Market, Enterprise, and AM teams
- Partner with Sales Enablement to ensure that BDR Enablement programs and BDR messaging and communications align with the messaging and methodology at BlackLine
- Support optimization of content, development of best practices, A/B testing, etc. for Outreach
- Constantly seek to evolve and refine the BDR training and development processes and content based on feedback
- Partner with Business Development leadership to enable alignment of BDR activities with key internal and external events
- Assist in the development and maintenance of various reports to track BDR productivity, identify areas of strength and areas of opportunity, provide analysis and action plan recommendations to appropriate stakeholders
- Keep current on all BlackLine solutions and proper positioning

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 1+ years of Business Development experience (or 1+ years of Business Development-related training experience)
- Superior communication, interpersonal, and written skills
- Exceptional business development skills, including prospecting, cold-calling, and objection-handling
- Ability to translate technical content and F&A business processes to be consumable by entry level BDRs
- Ability to understand strategic direction and goals of the Sales and Marketing organizations and support processes to facilitate achievement of business objectives
- Results and success-oriented with proven problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project)
- Ability to initiate and build relationships with people in an open, friendly, and accepting manner
- Adaptable and able to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change
- Background in finance and accounting
- Experience with enablement related to financial technologies/software is highly preferred
- Working knowledge of ERP landscapes
- Familiarity with Salesforce and SuccessFactors is a plus
