We are looking for an Associate Account Strategist to join Snap Inc! The Scaled Sales vertical focuses on building advertiser partnerships with small and mid-size businesses throughout the US. This sector is an ever growing and evolving one, and Snap believes it represents a tremendous opportunity to share such businesses with the next generation of consumers.
As an Associate Account Strategist, you will play an integral role in helping to research and identify prospective SMB advertisers, and initiate outreach to new customers. Additionally, you will partner with your team's leads and cross-functional partners, to educate them on ecosystem trends and industry related information. As your sales skills and familiarity with Snap’s advertising solutions develop, we’ll expect you to own your own customer relationships and grow their investment through consultation, nurturing and support. This position is based at our headquarters in our Los Angeles, CA.
What you'll do:
Identify and prioritize prospective customers, with a focus on improving leads lists through category research
Learn and follow best practices for client interaction, sales, and services, using coaching from peers and managers to improve customer satisfaction and win rates
Learn how to set agendas for customer conversations throughout the sales cycle, and successfully approach initial pitches, onboarding and campaign creation, performance check-ins, and ongoing growth recommendations
Take on project based work as needed to improve processes, foster collaboration and improve our sales resources
Assist in defining the overall sales approach for specific customer segments, develop work plans, and create compelling customer value propositions
Develop metrics to measure the growth and performance of accounts and provide reporting to customers as needed
Analyze campaign performance statistics and recommend performance enhancements
Articulate and update clients on Snap Inc. products and developments
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of social media, auction environment and digital and mobile marketing
Ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment
Strong problem solving and quantitative analytical skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
Someone who’s up for the challenge of building something from the bottom up

BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred
