Account Manager

Appetize Technologies, Inc. seeks a new Account Manager who wants a great opportunity to help drive demand in the marketplace for our modern enterprise point of sale solutions. Your proven track record of working strategically with Sales teams building meaningful customer relationships and driving retention programs will help you thrive in our fast paced, high-energy work environment. This role will be based in our Los Angeles office. Exceptional candidates in other cities may be considered.
 
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and oversee customer retention programs
  • Operating as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your accounts
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationship with our key accounts
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Prepare reports on account status
  • Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
  • Work closely with our customer success management team on key initiatives
  • Participate in and improve upon in-house processes and management procedures
  • Learn and recognize triggers based on customer behavior and engage with customers who request to terminate or downgrade service
  • Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel
  • Working with our marketing team to construct marketing material and presentation collateral
  • Proactively works a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones 
  • Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Highly motivated, driven and self-starting individual
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to understand customer needs
  • Excellent time management/organizational skills
  • Salesforce.com experience a huge plus
  • Bachelor's degree
