Our Los Angeles Market which includes KROQ, JACK FM, AMP, The Wave, K-Earth, 1070 AM, Roq of the 80’s, Channel Q (the first LGBTQ station ever), FireLane and The Los Angeles Rams is expanding its sales team. We are looking for Sales Executives that want to re-think and re-imagine how local advertisers can leverage our platform to engage with their consumer. Collectively, Entercom reaches over 12 million people weekly in Southern California.  Our Sales Executives sell across our broadcasting channels, our digital platform (Podcast, Streaming, Social Media, Email Marketing, Branded Content), and our Live Events ( Weenie Roast, We Can Survive,  Acoustic Christmas, and many more). Our Sales Reps sell comprehensive packages that are all unique to the advertisers goals.

The Role...

• Research, build, call, and grow your own pipeline.

• Identify local businesses that can be successful on our platform. Schedule and host meetings, pitch packages, and close business.

• Account Manage your existing business, roll out the red carpet, and always be focused on delivering optimal results.

• Work cross functionally with other sales rep to share and understand market trends. Be up to date on what’s going on in the industry. Be a thought leader on advertising.

• Responsible for exceeding sales budget and collection of sold accounts.

• Prepare promotional plans, sales literature, and advertising proposals.

• Troubleshoot and problem any customer problems.

• Communicate with other departments to assure quality service in placing orders and arranging promotional events.

• Attend sales meetings, training sessions, and client remotes.

• Maintain impeccable records in our systems of records.

• Performs all other tasks perceived, assigned, and/or required that contribute to the smooth running of the department and to the achievement of departmental and station

goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school graduate; college preferred.

• Minimum 2 years experience in sales/marketing; experience in selling digital media and/or online advertising is preferred.

• Strong knowledge and working skills in the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Requires valid drivers license, vehicle insurance, and dependable transportation.

• Must possess excellent organizational/time management skills.

• Must be self-motivated, self-disciplined, have a positive attitude and be an effective communicator.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk, hear, stand, sit, walk, use hands, reach with hands/ arms and manipulate a computer keyboard. May occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Job requires a majority of work day to be spent sitting and typing at computers.
