Account Executive, Enterprise
System1 is looking for a self-motivated individual to help grow one of the largest mapping apps in the world: MapQuest. Working at System1 still feels like a startup, but we have the structure, resources, and profits of an established and successful company - and we are growing rapidly!
This role sources and closes deals with our largest and most strategic B2B partners to ensure their business goals are met or exceeded, and maintains a high level of support and guidance in creating the best possible mapping/navigation experience.
This dynamic sales role is partner-facing, and highly collaborative in nature. The successful candidate doesn’t shy away from raising questions and tackling new challenges, while independently managing priorities and work flow to help continuously grow and evolve our customer base.
What You Can Expect on the Team
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement a strategic sales plan that grows the company's customer base and ensures its strong presence as a leader in our target industries (Healthcare, F&B, Technology, etc.)
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs & relaying them to our internal teams to improve our offerings
- Prepare & present monthly sales forecasts and achieved sales revenues
- Establish and maintain Salesforce.com instance
- Provide dedicated account management to selected strategic accounts
- Evangelize MapQuest in market & actively produce/share thought-leadership materials
- Continually develop industry knowledge and grow professionally
- Travel to trade shows, conferences and client offices for networking and partnership meetings
What You Will Bring
- 5+ years of experience with a strong track record of executive team collaboration in setting and achieving sales goals ideally in the SaaS/mapping/navigation space
- Ability to reach and develop relationships with C-level executives
- Unyielding tenaciousness — you do not take ‘no’ for an answer
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce.com
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Collaborative/Team Player
- Understanding of APIs, SDKs and other technical products is a plus
