Overview:

If you're looking for the stability of a profitable, growing company with the entrepreneurial spirit of a startup, we’re hiring. SageSure, a leader in catastrophe-exposed property insurance, is seeking a Bi-lingual Sales Manager to lead growth and engagement within an assigned region. This role is a critical link between our go-to-market strategy and producer success, ensuring agencies are informed, equipped, and motivated to grow their business with us. The Sales Manager is both a strategist and an executor—owning regional performance, driving producer relationships, and influencing company priorities through credible market insights. You’ll collaborate across teams, coach junior talent, and represent Sales Manager as a trusted partner in the market.

What you’d be doing:

  • Develop and execute a regional sales plan aligned to growth, retention, and engagement priorities.
  • Act as the primary owner of producer accounts, maintaining regular in-person and virtual touchpoints to drive activation and performance.
  • Build and sustain deep, trust-based relationships with producers to position SageSure as the partner of choice.
  • Provide credible market intelligence and producer feedback to inform regional and company-level strategy.
  • Lead the planning, strategy, and execution of key tradeshows, events, and producer meetings within your region.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with underwriting, marketing, and policy services to ensure seamless producer experiences.
  • Coach and support Agency Success Managers (ASMs) to elevate team effectiveness and share best practices.
  • Monitor production data, identify gaps, and proactively course-correct through targeted engagement.
  • Ensure accurate, consistent CRM documentation of meetings, calls, and other producer interactions.
  • Contribute to budget planning, utilization, and tracking for regional sales activities.
  • Participate in monthly new producer training and regional sales meetings to strengthen market readiness.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish), with the ability to conduct professional sales conversations, negotiations, and presentations in both languages.
  • 6–10 years of experience in sales, account management, or producer enablement within the Property & Casualty industry.
  • Proven success managing a sales region, including account planning, relationship management, and driving measurable growth.
  • P&C License required in the residence state, orhave the ability to gain the license within 90 days of employment.
  • Strong market expertise and the ability to translate strategy into actionable field execution.
  • Demonstrated experience influencing outcomes through cross-functional collaboration
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and adapt to market changes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional presence.
  • Residency within the assigned region, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel three days per week.
  • A Property & Casualty license and/or relevant professional designation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; ability to quickly learn reporting tools such as Domo.
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM or similar platforms.

 Highly preferred candidates also have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
  • Background in mentoring or developing junior sales team members.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
