WHO WE ARE

Come join the company reinventing data security, empowering businesses to realize the full potential of their data. As the leading data security platform purpose-built for the cloud era, Cyera’s mission is to reinvent how businesses secure data, enable agile collaboration, and boldly pursue new business opportunities. Trusted by security teams at leading global businesses, our team is proving that data security is the next big thing in cyber. Backed by the world’s leading investors and working with a large and growing list of Fortune 1000 companies, we are looking for world-class talent to join us as we usher in the new era of data security.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Cyera is seeking a highly organized, analytical, and execution-oriented Sales Engineering (SE) Operations Manager to support and scale our global Sales Engineering organization.

This role will be the operational backbone for the SE team — owning the administrative duties required to maintain and operate our POV management platform, optimizing analytics and reporting, driving process excellence, and managing SE systems and tools. As a key partner to SE leadership, this individual will help refine execution, streamline operations, and enable data-driven insights that power our customer engagements and proof-of-value success.

You will work cross-functionally with Sales, RevOps, and Product leadership to ensure our SE organization operates with clarity, efficiency, and impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own SE Systems & Infrastructure
  • Serve as the primary owner of POV Management Platforms, including system configuration, POV health reporting, and data integrity.
  • Oversee SE-related analytics and tools, integrating data across Salesforce, Clari, and Provarity to provide a holistic operational view.
  • Implement automations and workflow optimizations that enhance SE productivity and visibility.
  • Enable Data-Driven Execution
  • Design and maintain dashboards and reports providing insights into SE performance, POV conversion, customer engagement, and operational efficiency.
  • Analyze execution metrics to identify process bottlenecks, coverage gaps, and areas for improvement.
  • Partner with SE leadership to define success metrics, OKRs, and performance reporting cadences.
  • Refine and Scale SE Processes
  • Develop, document, and optimize SE processes across POV management, demo readiness, enablement tracking, and deal support workflows.
  • Establish and maintain a consistent framework for tracking POV health and technical validation success rates.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, and RevOps to ensure SE operations align with broader GTM initiatives.
  • Drive Communication and Alignment
  • Support SE leadership in preparing and delivering business reviews, QBR content, and operational insights.
  • Streamline communication across SE, Sales, and Product functions to improve visibility and collaboration.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to SE leadership, supporting strategic planning and execution refinement.
  • Champion Operational Excellence
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within SE — optimizing resource allocation, process design, and data consistency.
  • Maintain strong governance over SE-related data hygiene and ensure cross-system consistency.
  • Contribute to scaling a high-performing, data-informed SE organization as Cyera grows globally.

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4–6 years of experience in Sales Engineering Operations, Sales/Revenue Operations, or Technical GTM Operations within a SaaS or technology company.
  • Proven hands-on experience with Salesforce, Clari, and Project Management tools
  • Strong analytical and technical skills — adept at building and interpreting dashboards, uncovering insights, and driving actions.
  • Track record of process design, workflow automation, and systems integration across GTM or technical pre-sales functions.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and business stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational abilities and a bias for action; thrives in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to balance tactical execution with strategic vision — both a builder and an operator.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in Sales Engineering or Technical Operations.
  • Demonstrated impact on SE efficiency, POV success rates, and operational scalability.
  • Deep familiarity with SE workflows, proof-of-value processes, and pre-sales lifecycle management.
  • Hands-on experience in Salesforce reporting, dashboard automation, and system governance.

COMPENSATION INFORMATION:

In addition to a standard benefits and equity package, we offer a generous salary. Final compensation will vary based on seniority and relevance of experience, location, and position requirements.

This role may be eligible for potential merit increases based on factors such as individual or company performance, time in role, and other discretionary factors.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
