The Sales Analyst is a sales position that provides business insights and unit / revenue growth recommendations through category research delivered to the Sales Teams and AeroFarms Organization. This role will leverage a deep understanding of the consumer, customer, competitive set, and company goals to identify insights to drive future growth; and to create actionable insights.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Identify insights, present key learnings, and deliver business recommendations to drive new distribution and revenue growth utilizing syndicated data (Nielsen / Circana / IRI).
- Collaborate with the sales & corporate teams to achieve customer unit, revenue, distribution, pricing and promotional goals.
- Design, prepare and deliver regular category, customer, and account presentations and reports designed to grow the business.
- Conduct regular reviews and quarterly assessments of key business drivers.
- Deliver ad-hoc analysis that proactively uncovers business opportunities.
- Develop & build impactful customer specific selling stories that reflect key category and AeroFarms business-building initiatives.
- Partner with the Sales team to prepare, lead and deliver materials for external meetings.
- Attend customer meetings to assist sales team in presenting analysis to grow the business.
- A self-starter with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Excellent collaborator and proven ability to work as a team.
- Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities with high proficiency in data analysis utilizing syndicated data (Nielsen / Circana / IRI).
- Ability to link strategies and objectives to develop a plan and deliver results.
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel skills.
- Proven experience owning reporting and providing data driven and shopper insights to influence business results.
- Prior experience in business analytics with a national retailer or CPG manufacturer.
