Job Description
The Sales Account Executive generates advertising revenue primarily through developing new prospects and selling potential clients the merits of KTLA’s digital/linear advertising.
- Experience in digital marketing (omni channel multi-platform, with a focus on Video, Display, social media, or email marketing (typically 1-3 years).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage client relationships.
- Experience with digital analytics tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, or other marketing platforms.
- Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for digital marketing trends and innovations.
- Implement strategies to consistently grow revenue and exceed revenue goals.
- Establishes credible relationships with the local business community.
- Proactively identifies and develops new business opportunities.
- Top priority to develop new business using all platforms.
- Prepares and delivers sales presentations to clients.
- Support/advise customers in specific types of advertising and how we can help promote their products or services in the most effective way possible.
- Provide clients with information regarding rates for advertising placement in all media.
- Work with clients and station personnel to develop media campaigns
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Skills:
- Digital marketing expertise (OTT, Display, social media, email marketing)
- Experience with Freewheel and Google ad manager a plus
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Project management and organizational skills
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Advertising or Mass Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
- Minimum one year’s experience in sales, preferably in the media field
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Solution oriented
Compensation - $70,000 + commission
