About the Opportunity 

StubHub is seeking a passionate and strategic Research Operations Manager to join to lead key research initiatives that shape the future of how fans discover, buy, and sell tickets on StubHub. As the Research Operations Manager, you’ll build and own the systems, tools, processes, and programs that empower researchers to do their best work. You’ll partner closely with UX Researchers, Designers, Product Managers, and Data teams to optimize how we plan, conduct, and share research.  At StubHub, our mission is to be the global destination for live events, delivering an intuitive, seamless experience that anticipates what fans want before they even ask. UX Research is at the heart of this mission, ensuring that the voice of the user drives every decision we make. You’ll play a critical role in shaping this experience by uncovering deep insights into our users’ needs, behaviors, and motivations and transforming those insights into clear guidance for business, product, and design decisions.

Location: Hybrid (3 days in office/2 days remote) – New York, NY

What You'll Do:
  • Build and Scale Research Infrastructure: Design and implement scalable systems, tools, and processes that streamline study planning, execution, and delivery. 
  • Manage Research Tools and Platforms: Oversee licensing, onboarding, and optimization of research platforms (e.g., participant recruitment, survey tools, repository systems). 
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Create and refine processes for project intake, prioritization, documentation, and knowledge sharing across the UXR team. 
  • Champion Knowledge Management: Build and maintain centralized repositories that make insights easy to find, share, and act on. 
  • Enable Research Quality and Consistency: Develop templates, guidelines, and toolkits that promote rigor and consistency across research efforts. 
  • Partner Cross-Functionally: Collaborate with UX leadership, Product Ops, and Data to integrate research operations with broader product and design processes. 
  • Support UXR Team Growth: Identify operational gaps, forecast resource needs, and help onboard and support new team members. 

What You've Done:

  • 5+ years of experience in Research Operations, Program Management, UX Operations, or a similar role supporting a Product or Research organization. 
  • Proven success building and scaling operational systems or programs in a high-growth or cross-functional environment. 
  • Strong understanding of UX or user research workflows, methodologies, and tools. 
  • Experience managing vendor relationships, budgets, and procurement for research tools or services. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively across disciplines and levels of seniority. 
  • Passion for enabling great research and helping teams work smarter, faster, and with greater impact.

The anticipated gross base pay range is below for this role. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of StubHub’s total compensation and competitive benefits package, which includes equity, 401(k), paid time off, paid parental leave, and comprehensive health benefits.
