Representative, Comedy Operations

UTA seeks a Representative, Comedy Operations to service the Comedy Touring division in the Los Angeles office. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the live entertainment business and the interactions between promoters/talent buyers, artist managers, tour managers and other essential members of an artist’s team.
This is a full-time position with benefits and will pay $24.00 per hour.
What You Will Do

• Track signed contracts and advance payments from talent buyers

• Review contract changes and edit according to UTA guidelines

• Review contract changes and submit summary of changes to agents for approval

• Submit contracts to UTA Business Affairs department for review and approval

• Communicate UTA contract policies and changes to buyers

• Ensure contracts are fully signed by coordinating with artists and artist management teams

• Obtain ticket sales data from talent buyers if assigned

• Issue contracts for live engagements if assigned

• Perform other related duties / special projects if assigned

What You Will Need

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred

• Prior experience working in an administrative capacity

• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, including familiarity with complex formulas and worksheets within Microsoft Excel

• Prior exposure to entertainment industry preferred
