This role will be a part of a Regional Pod where they will be enabled to learn and develop a sales and technical skillset preparing them for an Outside Sales Role in the Thrive Sales Organization.Responsibilities
  • Identify new quality agent channel partners who have not previously sold Thrive solutions
  • Leverage Thrive resources and utilize our repeatable and continually evolving messaging as we look to engage with new agent channel partners and set up intro meetings for our channel leaders and client business executives
  • Identify existing agent channel partners in your region who are not currently transacting with Thrive and educate on offerings
    • Set up appointments for channel leaders and client business executives to train these partners and empower them with the necessary Thrive collateral, solution information, and company updates
  • Identify, reach out to, and educate agent channel partners by prioritizing on the below criteria:
    • Top opportunity generating and transacting Technology Services Distributors (TSD) agents
    • Breakdown of Thrive solutions sold from most and least
    • Win rate by Thrive solutions
    • Top revenue closing Technology Services Distributors (TSD) agents
    • Agents who have brought Thrive the most opportunities – qualified or not
  • Develop and grow agent channel partner relationships in region through consistent cadence, office visits, and joining channel leaders and client business executives at regional events when needed
  • Monitor sales funnels of channel leaders and client business executives to make sure proper follow-up is taking place
  • Run monthly reports on stalled opportunities and follow up with agent channel partners on them to see if any can be reignited
  • Weekly alignment with our regional channel leaders and client business executives to make sure they are connected with the right agent channel partners, are focused on the right agent channel partners in region, and that we are sharing the most relevant content
  • LEARNING ABOUT YOUR AGENT CHANNEL PARTNERS, THEIR BUSINESSES, AND THEIR CLIENTS IS ESSENTIAL
  • Be in market at least once a quarter to meet with agent channel partners you are supporting
  • Become familiar and effective with Thrive’s primary tool sets – ServiceNow, Salesforce, HubSpot
  • Must be disciplined, focused, organized, and a team player
  • Must be willing to make cold calls with new agent channel partners
 Qualifications
  • 2 years of business development representative experience within the IT or MSP industry, ideally in Cloud, Cybersecurity, Networking, Disaster Recovery, or AI areas
  • Indirect channel experience is highly preferred
  • Experience working for a Systems Integration, Computer Hardware/Software Reseller, Managed Services Provider is highly preferred
  • Degree from 4-year college with proven academic success
  • Sales Experience
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools and processes preferred
  • Excellent Communication Skills
