The Role

Regional Brand Manager (Onsite - 5 days per week in office)

Overview

The Regional Brand Manager will develop and execute targeted marketing strategies that enhance our brand presence and drive growth within specific local markets. This role will use their keen understanding of local market dynamics, strong project management skills, and passion for creating impactful marketing campaigns.

The impact you'll make:

  • Oversee the development and execution of hyper-localized marketing campaigns for B2B and B2C sectors, aligning them with the company's overall OKRs.
  • Engage key stakeholders to drive the development of the Weedmaps value proposition, positioning, target and messaging for identified market initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Insights team to extract actionable insights for each market, informing the marketing mix, messaging, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Utilize industry market research to validate project objectives and take advantage of opportunities associated with emerging trends. 
  • Ensure consistent  messaging and positioning across all local efforts, maintaining alignment with brand standards.
  • Working closely with key stakeholders, develop and manage playbooks per market, documenting strategies, best practices, and performance metrics. 
  • Plan holistically and forward-thinking, yet be nimble and address the needs to change. 
  • Plan and direct workflow to avoid “fire drills” and is actively ready to discuss any aspect of brand programs.
  • Become the eyes and ears of the marketing team at the field level and support relevant local feedback to strengthen program and plan development.

What you've accomplished:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field with 3-5 years of experience in marketing within the CPG and ecommerce sectors, with a focus on local or regional markets preferred.
  • Strong understanding of local market dynamics and consumer behavior with experience in various research methodologies such as brand health studies, customer tracker studies, segmentation studies, focus groups, copy testing, survey design, and cohort analysis.
  • Demonstrated strong project management experience with expertise in managing multiple projects through competing and conflicting priorities and deadlines. 
  • Proven track record of managing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
  • Knowledge of authentic cannabis culture.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative thinker, results-oriented, proactive, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.

The base pay range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 per year
