Our Deluxe Technicolor Digital Cinema group is hiring outstanding software professionals to join us in developing and delivering next generation digital cinema system based on DCI. Deluxe Technicolor Digital Cinema is a global leader in the development of end-to-end distribution technology and support services for the delivery of digital cinema to theaters worldwide. We provide a complete range of capabilities to serve the emerging digital distribution needs for the motion picture industry based on an open standard that covers all of the stages for taking a movie from a studio master to a theater’s digital projection system. This includes compressing, encrypting, and transferring the master onto a deliverable media, delivering the content to the theater – for storage scheduling and playback, and installation and service of digital cinema playback systems.

We currently have an opening for a Senior QA Engineer Lead. This position will be located in Burbank, CA.

Responsibilities
• Conduct Functional, Integration, and Performance testing
• Develop test code, scripts, test tools, and execute test cases to validate software releases
• Evaluate, implement and integrate external testing frameworks and tools
• Guide our automation testing efforts
• Communicate status to senior management
• Day-to-day management and long-term career guidance of QA Engineering team
• Establish process, standards and culture of a high-performing, highly accountable QA team

Required Experience
• Minimum of 5 years of hands on experience in software testing with emphasis on White Box and/or Automation testing.
• Minimum of 2 years in a current lead role
• Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (Python, C#, Java, JavaScript, Ruby, etc.)
• Knowledge of service-oriented architecture and Web services 
• Experience testing Web Service APIs (REST/SOAP) using Jmeter/SoapUI
• Hands-on experience with relational and non-relational databases (SQL Server, Mongo, etc.)
• Experience testing Web applications (Selenium, Watir, RSpec, etc. )
• Knowledge of source control and release management tools (SVN, Jenkins, Git, etc.)
• Understanding of Agile principles and practices such as Continuous Integration, TDD, daily Scrums, and sprint/release planning and execution
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated, independent and proactive

Desired Experience
• Networking and network testing tools (Wireshark, Charles, Fiddler, etc.)
• Experience with multimedia standards and streaming protocols
• Experience with DRM technologies (PlayReady, Flash Access, AACS, Widevine)
