Training Content Project Manager
Job Summary
The Training Content Project Manager is an individual who manages multiple short and long-term projects simultaneously, supports the development of project plans and schedules, facilitates projects tasks with various functional organizations, forecasts and tracks progress, and identifies problems or risks to project success and provides resolutions to ensure the project completes on time, in scope, and with high quality. These projects are in support of the Global Training and Education team, including customer and partner training projects.
The ideal candidate will understand how the components of the different workstreams align and will manage the project milestones and deliverables on time.
Roles and Responsibility (list in order of importance)
- Create and manage multiple project plans; monitor and review project progress and timelines; adjust schedules and plans as needed, and identify and resolve issues to ensure project success.
- Assemble and own the Smartsheet project plans to ensure accurate tracking and managing deviations through appropriate measures.
- Maintain a dashboard of all project statuses, completion goals, backlog items, and metric tracking for visibility across the organization.
- Coordinate with multiple team members without direct authority to drive project milestones to on-time completion.
- Manage all communications with content development and review teams, triage and resolve issues as they arise.
- Facilitate project meetings to review projects and status; realign training strategy with business goals as needed.
- Collaborate with Training and Education leadership on roadmap alignment and resourcing assignments.
- Engage with internal stakeholders to assist with project scoping and project launch.
- Act as a change agent to build a culture of continuous improvement.
- Assist the Content Development team in reviewing and testing new training content that supports BlackLine product releases and enhancements.
- Represent the Training team at events, including user conferences, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Years of Experience in Related Field: At least 4+ years of project management experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent work experience
Technical/Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience using Smartsheet or similar project management software.
- Intermediate proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to deliver presentations and virtual training with MS Teams or similar applications.

- Proven project management skills with the ability to lead, manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years working in a training organization supporting customer, partner, and internal audiences or in the learning and development industry (e.g., curriculum development, instructional design, facilitation).
- Knowledge of eLearning and ILT course design, storyboarding, student and instructor guides, lab exercises, and job aids.
- PMP Certification
Working Conditions
Work is primarily sedentary; no special demands are required.
May require up to 25% overnight travel.
