Technical Project Manager
Responsibilities
Drive execution of technical projects; Develop and maintain key project management deliverables (i.e., project charter, project scope, requirement documents, project resource plans, issue logs, project documentation, workflows, risk mitigation plans, and transition plans); Lead multiple projects through project development, launch, execution, performance, control, and close; Manage project activities across the entire project life cycle and provide status of project commitments to key stakeholders; Perform critical path analysis and create project schedules and resource plans; Participate in technology planning and strategy activities to ensure business objectives are being addressed; Create technical specification documents and work breakdown structures to effectively track successful outcomes with software engineers; Develop processes and collaborate with other departments to maintain and refine processes, as well as drive the change control process; Review project team deliverables to ensure quality and adherence to internal standards, as well as regulatory requirements; Develop strong relationships with clients to understand their needs, to anticipate obstacles to success, and to advocate internally on their behalf; and Manage client facing relationships serving in an account management capacity. *No supervision of employees.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree (foreign equivalent accepted) in Computer Science or related field and 4 years of experience in job offered, or closely related occupation. OR Master’s degree (foreign equivalent accepted) in Computer Science or related field and 2 years of experience.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Experience in the following:
- Experience managing multiple projects through entire life cycle
- Experience with project management methodologies, such as Agile, Kanban, Waterfall, Scrum.
- Scrum Master Certified and experience running all scrum ceremonies.
- Technical programming and architecture understanding.
- Experience with product definition and management.
- Experience in gathering and validating business and technical requirements.
- Understanding product development lifecycles
- Create and track complex development schedules
- Experience using JIRA for issue and bug tracking, and updating workflows, schemes, and screens.
- Experience working with customer facing projects and account management responsibilities.
- Experience managing mobile and web projects
- Experience managing budgets and ensuring projects profitability.
- Assure quality of delivered solutions.
