About the Technical Project Manager, Security at Headspace:

Headspace is seeking a Technical Project Manager, Security to lead and coordinate the security based cross-functional projects throughout the company. In this role you will help drive the implementation of our information security program across the organization with a focus on our engineering, devops, and IT teams. You will use your skills as a technical project manager to ensure we deliver a reliable and secure experience for our members as they strive to improve themselves and the world around them. You will work with a diverse team of talented leaders and contributors who all are working collaboratively to realize our vision of improving the health and happiness of the world

How your skills and passion will come to life at Headspace:

• Work closely with cross-functional partners including, Product, Legal, Sales, and Engineering teams to ensure a coordinated and deliberate approach toward launching complex projects
• Provide proper communication in a variety of formats to ensure that stakeholders and senior management are aware of progress and roadblocks
• Ensure that all stakeholders to a project are completing their deliverables on time and with high-quality 
• Unblock team members and continually refine the processes of cross-functional teams in order to improve velocity and agility while reducing complexity

What you’ve accomplished:

• 5-8 years of overall work experience
• 3-5 years in project management or product management experience at a top internet company OR similar startup experience
• 3-5 years running technical software or hardware projects using agile or lean methodologies
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, and a commitment to communicating often
• Ability to manage many competing priorities and constant reprioritization, while ensuring that stakeholder expectations are set properly
• Experience driving consensus across a diverse group of stakeholders, setting/working toward common user engagement goals, and project managing a vast set of initiatives
• A passion for process and building high performing teams
• A bias toward action, a predilection for getting hands dirty and doing any work required to get the job done 
• Extreme tendency towards organization is a plus
• Experience with API teams, information security, and DevOps is a plus
• CAPM, PMP, or PMI-ACP certification preferred is a plus
