We’re looking for a Technical Program Manager to join Snap’s Infrastructure team! In this role, you will lead the strategy, direction, and execution of reliability and operational excellence across Snap. You will own the vision and roadmap for reliability in a high-scale, regionalized, multi-cloud architecture, representing these concerns across senior leadership and engineering. You will be a force multiplier for the Snapchat customer experience, driving the right balance between rapid iteration, data-driven experimentation, and rock solid stability across Snap’s feature teams.
What you’ll do:
Own the roadmap for operational excellence, setting technical direct to meet company goals
Work on cross-organizational projects to deliver results that move Snap engineering forward
Represent Snap’s operational excellence to the highest levels of the company
Deliver a realistic picture of projects’ technological scope and progress
Efficiently track projects and development schedules, ensuring technology quality and on time delivery
Manage project development costs while prioritizing project tasks and risks
Simplify and minimize technology complexity
Drive partners and integrate deliverables into projects
Communicate project statuses to the entire project team
Foster an open and collaborative environment
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong organizational skills and proven project management track record
Ability to manage complex projects effectively by setting clear goals, identifying roadblocks, designing solutions, and tracking progress against deadlines
Ability to build relationship and drive alignment with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to analyze data and gain meaningful insights
Ability to think and solve problems independently
Capacity to work in a fast paced, continuously changing environment
An individual who is self-motivated and driven and has demonstrated commitment to take accountability and responsibility for success of large programs
BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience
3+ years of Technical Program Management (TPM) experience
BS/BA degree in computer science
5+ years experience in software technical program management
