Their strength lies in their consultative approach, deep technical experience, local resources and extensive strategic partnerships.ABOUT THE POSITION:This is a full-time, W2 position with our client.The Project Manager facilitates all phases of the project implementation, while maintaining budget, communications, and objective of the overall project. As a Project Manager, your primary responsibility is to manage complex technology projects. Most projects assigned involve more than one technology and often constitute larger scopes. This position will work cooperatively with members of the designated sales, engineering and operations teams and will operate with a high degree of independence.This position can work remotely from any location, but the position will require the individual to work west coast hours to best meet our client and business needs.ResponsibilitiesReview the scope of work, bill of materials, and the project with the internal team members and implementation resources. Place order for equipment as necessary.

  • Create and maintain project implementation plans, risk mitigation plans, design documents, project budget, status reports, and all other project management-related documentation. This includes updating all internal systems to ensure all documented information aligns with the current project status.
  • Manage resource planning and assignments by partnering with internal staff to determine the project approach, staffing, responsibilities, and schedules according to the project timeline.
  • Coordinate kick off and status meetings with the client, sales and implementation resources to review the scope, deliverables, schedule, requirements, and project risks.
  • Develop and manage all project artifacts, issue/action logs, risk registers, communication plans, training plans, cut-over/test plans, company invoicing, and project schedule (list not inclusive).
  • Schedule all required implementation and training resources.
  • Manage and update project schedule.
  • Manage and ensure work product aligns with SOW's and manage change order process, where applicable.
  • Manage all cut-over and post implementation plans and punch list activities to completion.
  • Manages the completion and distribution of all deliverables to client, by tracking the delivery status and installation schedules, in accordance with required timeframes.
  • Perform all project closure activities including: warrant transfer, acceptance documentation, client acceptance, and transition to Operations teams.

RequirementsA successful candidate will meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • PMI-PMP, PMI-ACP, PMI-CAPM, Agile-CSM, or SAFe Scrum Master required.
  • Minimum 6 years IT Project Management experience.
  • Project Management experience in Cisco's product line (Routing, Switching, Unified Communication, Data Center Virtualization using VMware and EMC product lines)
  • Project Management experience in Avaya IP Office and/or Avaya CM product lines.
  • Project Management experience in Microsoft Skype for Business.
  • Project Management experience in Cloud computing, NFV, SDN, Data Center; a plus.
  • Demonstrated understanding of methods and procedures for all phases of project management life cycle.
  • Advanced knowledge of Project Management policies, practices and systems.
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
  • Superior project management, time management, and communication management skills----- required to plan, organize, and direct the overall production of a project.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have several projects in your active portfolio.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong critical thinking, appropriate judgment, and logical decision-making skills.
  • Ability to solve problems using deductive and inductive reasoning and see tasks through to completion with minimal guidance.
  • Ability to sense and forecast problem areas.
  • Ability to coordinate across various groups and functional teams.
