Overview and Responsibilities
Summary
As a Senior Program Manager – Technology Strategy - you will work closely with the Technology Leadership Team, under the direction of the Head of Technology Strategy, to help manage and lead projects to transform and scale the tech org and achieve high performance results.
Responsibilities Include
The Senior Program Manager – Technology Strategy will help project manage, lead and facilitate key initiatives, such as:
- Technology Team Scaling and Efficiency Projects
- Technology Strategy Analysis & Planning Projects (Martech Strategy, Competitive Analysis / Market Intelligence. Budgeting, Liaison with 3rd Party Research (e.g Gartner), Long-Term Planning, Tech Roadmaps, Technology Framework. Tech Stack Gap Analysis)
- Policies and Governance Projects (Technology Enablement for Data Governance & Identity Management, Vendor Evaluation Processes, Business Process Transformation)
- Vendor Performance Measurement Projects
- Technology Innovation Projects (Overseeing POCs and pilot initiatives for new technologies, innovation partners, new user experiences vendor collaborations, academic partnerships)
- External Events and Activities (conferences, roundtables)
- Transformation Initiatives (org design, org scaling, on-boarding, M&A)
- Staff Process Optimization Processes (FTE Hiring and Performance Review Processes)
- Key Focus Areas (Competitive & market analysis, creation of tech roadmap / tech stack using analytics, Technology roadmap evolution, Build vs. buy analysis, Vendor scorecards, financial analysis, Market research - custom, Technology strategy presentations, Tech stack review / maintenance, Vendor management, Strategic tech vendors)
Basic Qualifications
Qualities / Experience We're Seeking
The individual we seek should have 7 or more years of technical project / program management experience, including experience working extensively with Director and VP engineering stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a technical degree and an MBA or PMP or extensive project management experience. Prior experience in a high volume internet software or media firm is preferred. Experience with the following is required:
- Technology / engineering process knowledge
- Experience managing technology and software projects
- Familiarity with media & entertainment market / ecosystem preferred

- Strong presentation, communications, and writing skills
