Sr. Program Manager

We are looking for a Senior Program Manager where a background in healthcare is preferred and SaaS experience.

How you will contribute:

  • Understands and effectively applies Patient Pop’s Scrum practice. Ensures Scrum teams understand the practice and follow it. Makes recommendations for future process improvements when appropriate
  • Collaborates with the appropriate product owners, engineering leads and stakeholders to facilitate scrum events with the teams in order to plan, project and continuously deliver business value
  • Monitors health of development cycles, and future plans/projections while maintaining consistent communication and approval processes with project team and stakeholders.
  • Regularly documents and communicates status, risks/issues and relevant metrics as appropriate for the respective audience
  • Responsible or managing day-to-day operational aspects, including scheduling and running ceremonies for up to two teams
  • Facilitates communication and forward progress within the scrum team including breakout sessions, decision making, removing blockers and maintaining focus
  • Collaborates with team and leadership to create mitigation plans when planned work are at risk
  • Coordinates release process, documenting release notes and communicating to the necessary stakeholders
  • Provide leadership and mentoring for junior team members, leading to their growth and success

Skills you’ll bring:

  • Experience in healthcare interoperability specifications like HL7 and FHIR
  • Experience with a package like HealthJump, Redox, Sikka (or similar)
  • Liaise between cross-functional teams and leaders to influence decision making process
  • You are adept at discovering, positioning, and prioritizing pervasive problems to solve
  • Strong written and verbal communicator with both non-technical and technical audience
  • Excellent understanding of Agile principles and experience putting them into practice
  • Ability to identify and make suggestions for process improvements
  • Experienced self-starter who can support multiple teams in tandem with minimal supervision, including large, complex value streams that involve multiple teams across the organization
  • Strong attention to detail, listening, and consistent follow-through with the ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to resolve conflicts and foster alignment.
  • Ability to understand how project issues can impact the big picture from a business perspective.
  • Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization, including executive leadership
  • Desire and ability to support and mentor other team members, displaying leadership and professionalism
  • Influence others by mentoring and coaching cross functional teams using agile methodologies and change management
  • Ability to communicate complex technical and business issues concisely and effectively to enable high-quality decision making and drive cross-functional alignment
  • Project leadership in planning and scoping, budget and staff management, reporting, and issue management, timelines and client deliverables scrum ceremony management and implementation
  • Ability to communicate complex technical and business issues concisely and effectively to enable high-quality decision making and drive cross-functional alignment
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and manage ambiguity
  • Proven track record of delivering high quality results to clients and the business
  • Strong organization and documentation skills managing: scope estimations, contracts, reports, financial management, risk and issue management
