Role Overview:

We are currently seeking a Senior Scrum Master and Scrum Chapter Lead supporting our team in Southern California and Kyiv. You will have the opportunity to build on our existing Agile foundation and grow the Agile culture across the company coming up with innovative ways to meet challenges head on as we scale. Strong communication and organization are a must as you manage and mentor in your role as Scrum Master Chapter lead. Chapter initiatives and projects will impact both internal Engineering teams and customers. Your ability to balance business needs and value against speed and quality are critical. Responsibilities:

• Hit the ground running with your 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Certified Scrum Master and Certified Product Owner. You will shape the Scrum culture by running all squad ceremonies and ensuring burn-downs and key metrics are healthy.
• Ongoing training and coaching of the development squad and Scrum Masters across the organization.
• Deliver value to our customers quickly as you collaborate with the Product team on creating beautiful and shippable features in the form of user stories.
• Focus on velocity and increasing the performance and predictability of your team.
• Use your organizational wizardry to manage the product backlog making sure your squad always knows what’s next and can focus on building features that delight our customers.
• Guide developers to grow in their career and performance. Help with making existing products the best in the industry and support the creation and migration to a new application architecture.
• Be the first to see roadblocks and tackle the challenge head on by proactively monitoring proposed scope and prioritization changes.
• Build relationships with C-level, VP and Directors as you prepare project reports for key stakeholders to provide updates on activities, deliverables, significant changes, risks and mitigation strategies.
• Be on the ground floor of developing policy to optimize development process and create project management best practices. We are growing and you will have a huge opportunity to shape the process that sets us up for this next big growth phase.
• Directly manage all the Scrum Masters on the Engineering team and provide ongoing opportunities for them as the Scrum Master Chapter Lead.

Required Qualifications:

• BS/MS Degree or equivalent - Whether you come from a traditional or non traditional background in tech, we welcome the opportunity to speak with you.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in an Agile/Scrum environment as Scrum Master
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certification or equivalent
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) Certification or equivalent
• Prior experience in management/leadership with direct reports
• Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Rally or similar tool - Global teams mean communication is key.
• Experience working in a distributed workforce with cross-functional project teams in other countries/time zones during the development and implementation of major initiatives.
• Great attention to detail - You are in many ways the nerve center of the squad and our go to for information.
• Master communicator - Ability to effectively communicate plans, progress, risks, expectations, and technical issues to project stakeholders including product owners, team members, and customer support teams.
• We’re growing so you will need the ability to work in a fast-paced environment multitasking on multiple projects.
• Strong Proficiency in the English language: Written and Verbal
