Project ManagerJob SummaryJoin the God of War team! The Project Manager is responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, approval, analysis, and completion of special projects; while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments, and goals of the Studio. Examples of special projects may include conferences, training, coordinating executive visits, supporting team performance review and budget cycle, and high-level Studio planning.Responsibilities
- Partner with Directors of Product Development to execute high-level studio needs and strategic goals.
- Collaborate with internal Leads, Managers, Directors, and Producers to plan and implement projects.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Schedule, track, and facilitate inter-company requests.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation for easily digested review.
- Report and escalate to management as necessary.
- Coordinate individuals’ time and availability against complex dependencies and conflicting needs.
- Monitor and adapt plans based on Studio’s goals and schedules.
- Collaborate with Studio operations team to support sensitive budget-related planning and tracking.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Excellent internal and client-facing verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, flexible environment with minimal supervision in order to prioritize and meet project deadlines.
- Must possess a high degree of attention to detail and organization.
- High degree of initiative and autonomy.
- Committed to hands-on, self-sufficient, start-to-finish execution.
Education & Experience:
- Minimum 4-7 years of experience in a product development environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Outlook and Excel).
- Proven track record of managing projects to successful completion.
- Prior experience working with large development teams.
- Gaming and interactive entertainment experience preferred.
