Project Manager, SVOD

This position's primary responsibility is to oversee the technical deployment of cross-platform product initiatives as well as to scope out the technical feasibility of web and cross-platform product initiatives during the early stages of product development. You'll be reporting to the Senior Project Manager.

The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of Agile software development methodologies, web and mobile application development, web and application programming languages and project management best practices so as to be able to effectively manage multiple concurrent projects. As part of this role, you will:

• Drive effective scrum ceremonies including daily scrum, backlog grooming, sprint planning, demos and retrospectives
• Track and distributing relevant metrics and reports periodically to show team progress and velocity
• Develop and Execute project plans to deliver complex technology projects
• Coordinate with multiple offshore and onshore development teams
• Identify, understand, and track impediments; help remove them and drive improvements to optimize how the team works
• Manage risks, scope, cost, schedule, and quality. Ensure any changes are documented and approved with project change request forms
• Communicate with regularity project status with stakeholders
• Act as a mediator between stakeholders and project team members

Required qualifications:

• 2 or more years professional project management experience with online, mobile, and/or OTT products
• Experience working closely with developers to complete software development projects using Agile methodology
• Experience being on multiple Scrum teams in a variety of different contexts
• Moderate to expert-level knowledge of Atlassian (JIRA, Confluence) agile tools to measure team productivity and report
• Experience managing external stakeholders and vendors
• Demonstrable professional experience managing multiple concurrent projects, in a fast-paced working environment
• 2 or more years experience using project management software such as OmniPlan or Microsoft Project

Preferred qualifications:

• One or more related certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), Project Management Professional (PMP), PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
• 2 or more years experience playing Scrum master/Agile Project Manager especially in large programs involving multiple scrum teams
• Strong & demonstrated knowledge of web development technologies (JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, etc.)
• Experience with cloud-based environments is desired
• BS/MS in computer science, engineering, or information technology (or equivalent) preferred
