Team and Role Overview

At Relativity, we re-imagine the way rockets are built and flown. We are redefining design, manufacturing and operational processes, to create the first 21st-century aerospace company. We are looking for a Program Manager to join our team to make this happen. This role will direct and manage the road map of our Stargate printer development. This role will report directly to the Director of Additive Manufacturing.


The Mission/Outcomes and Objectives

Our mission is to change the people’s conception of the way rockets are built and flown. As the Additive Program Manager, you will have a heavy hand in the overall road map of Stargate printer development. You will personally create a program plan for Relativity’s Additive team, including scheduling and forecasting for our large scale 3D printers.

 

You will Track and document the complex inter-dependencies between the various projects occurring within the Additive team.. The success of this team is also highly dependent on your ability to highlight potential schedule risks and assist with creating solutions to maintain the schedule.


Candidate Profile

You have ideally come from an environment where you have had to manage a complex project with a variety of dynamic components. This will include management of the project, its timeline, and deliverables. You are a diligent and detail oriented person--ensuring that trainings and procedures are up to date for the printer operator staff. On a day to day, you are managing resources and continually recruiting machine operators to support 24/7 operations of our printers.

 

This role is also a highly collaborative role in an intense startup environment—excellent communication skills is key in being successful in this role.

 

 

Minimum Required Skills and Competencies

  • Bachelors degree and 3+ years of industry experience leading complex projects.
  • Experience in a hardware R&D environment.
  • Experience tracking a complex program.
  • Experience gathering, communicating and documenting technical requirements.
  • Familiarity with job hazard analysis and OSHA.



This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a United States Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required.
