TeleSign is looking for an experienced Program Manager who will act as the principal project leader interfacing with internal and external customers, partners, team members, and management. The PM will make technical decisions, manage changes, risks and life cycle and recommend process improvements. He/she will provide leadership and tactical planning for execution of projects by applying knowledge to achieve project objectives and deliverables.

This position is based in Marina del Rey, CA and reports to the Director of Program Management.

Essential Functions

  • Possess a solid understanding of the Scrum framework and the ability to coach others regarding Agile best practices.
  • Promote Agile values and principles within the development/engineering team and organization.
  • Lead meetings to achieve alignment on scope, schedule and requirements with Product Owners.
  • Work with stakeholders to accurately report progress, risks, successes, failures, opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist with internal and external communication to improve transparency and clearly articulate information to different audiences.
  • Remove impediments to progress, facilitate meetings, and keep the team focused and on track.
  • Drive successful project completion despite challenges of varying complexity.
  • Conduct all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily Scrum meetings, sprint demos/reviews, and sprint retrospectives.
  • Track and report ongoing team capacity and velocity.
  • Perform other duties or projects as assigned.

Essential Requirements

  • 3-5 years’ experience in the ScrumMaster role for a software development team practicing Agile/Scrum.
  • Hands-on experience with methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean Startup, SAFe, LeSS.
  • Excellent skills in action-oriented management and leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continuous improvement, written and verbal communication.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
  • Understanding of Agile metrics and reports such as burndown charts, velocity.
  • Experience using Agile tools such as JIRA.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ScrumMaster certification - CSM.
  • SAFe certification – SA or SPC.
  • Other certifications – PMP, ACP.
  • Prior experience working for an international company and/or with international partners.

That’s how the product team is accomplishing their recent ambitious project: Putting some of their solutions into the cloud to make them more accessible to users. Cloud implementation requires thoughtful work and creativity to rebuild the solutions on a new framework and develop new deployment processes, but the product team is more than up to the task.
