What we are looking for...

We are looking for a Senior Manager to lead the Supply Chain team and manage contract development and negotiations to facilitate a growing national portfolio of over 1,000 hospitality assets. You will be empowered with visibility to the entire organization and will partner cross-functionally to deliver value across all areas of Supply Chain. The ideal candidate is a team player who possesses strong negotiation and vendor management skills, is an expert in all areas of Supply Chain (Fulfillment/Logistics, Procurement, Sourcing, Inventory Management, Supply Chain Systems and Data Management) and who enjoys implementing new processes and driving P&L value.

What you'll do...

  • Have experience conducting RFP’s, Sourcing materials and services required to support customers both internally and externally (i.e. electronic components, mechanical parts, and other project materials), vendor negotiations, conducting internal product audits and taking sourcing projects to completion
  • Partner with business function leaders, Legal & Finance to initiate and review contracts, have expertise in contract review and negotiation, NDA’s and the technology to support these initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to recommend opportunities for cost optimization, including vendor consolidation and other pricing/quality efficiencies
  • Significant experience with Supply Chain systems (P2P, Inventory, Contracts, 3PL, WMS, TMS) and experience implementing those systems
  • Partner with FP&A to develop cost models to assess value and qualitative/quantitative advantages
  • Working knowledge of 3PL’s, Distribution, contract negotiation with 3PL’s
  • Work with suppliers to guarantee on-time delivery performance and forecast planning to ensure stocking strategies meet established targets
  • Act as the primary liaison between suppliers and operational/field teams
  • Experience compiling and evaluating complex data models
  • Extensive experience in P2P modeling, workflows, and maximizing efficiency
  • Inventory management and demand planning experience in the hospitality industry
  • Previous experience as a system administrator for a P2P platform
  • Ensure that procurement is aligned with other department schedules and requirements as needed (eg. Logistics, meeting revenue goals, cost savings, and inventory strategies)
  • Monitor and proactively recommend alternative solutions to sourcing challenges
  • Develop new supply sources as alternates to poorly performing suppliers or sole source materials/services
  • Interact closely with suppliers and design engineers to resolve performance/quality issues
  • Optimize the efficiency of logistics between integrated suppliers while minimizing variable and fixed costs.
  • Continuously improve programs to support corporate strategies and goals
  • Create and deploy purchase orders
  • Own the vendor performance management for all vendors, define KPIs, and serve as the primary escalation point as needed for internal stakeholders
  • Develop purchasing policies and guidelines and ensure that appropriate business controls are in place to reduce risk (thresholds, approved vendors, etc)

What you'll bring...

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a startup company at any stage
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in leading and managing all aspects of the supply chain team (Fulfillment/3PL relationships, Inventory Management, Sourcing, Procurement, Project Management, Data Management, Systems, Systems Integration, Systems Implementation)
  • Minimum 10 years experience in Hospitality, Short Term Rental or Multifamily Supply Chain
  • Experience with the RFP, implementation and workflow process of a spend management system
  • Experience with Change Management
  • BA or BS degree or higher in related discipline.
  • Certification or accreditation in Business Administration, Procurement or Supply Chain Management preferred
  • Supply Chain Certification a plus
  • Experience project planning, decision making, results delivery, team building, and the ability to stay current with relevant technology and innovation
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiating skills and ability to work in a cross functional environment
  • The ability to accurately analyze information and make strategic decisions that have cross-organizational impact
  • Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • The ability to manage team members and direct reports by evaluating employee performance and making personnel decisions
  • Strong negotiation, leadership, interpersonal skills, along with the ability to effectively manage stress and engage in a continuous learning environment
