Move Coordinator

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for planning, scheduling coordinating and overseeing personnel relocations. Will help guide requesters through the move process from submission through execution. Will work with business managers, employees, Security, move contractor, desktop support, Engineering & Construction and Space Planning staff ensuring seamless relocation of employees and designated groups/others as scheduled.

KEY FUNCTIONS:
- Monitors for and processes daily move requests within Archibus move management system
- Answers inquiries pertaining to move services
- Ensures accuracy of information submitted to system
- Coordinates with space planning department, business managers, employees and IT desktop support to set move dates
- Manages multiple moves at the same time
- Converts request from Archibus move management system into work orders in computerized maintenance management system
- Ensures seamless handoff of work orders to move management contractor for implementation
- Coordinates and oversees special moves, personnel relocations and facilities arrangements for corporate activities.
- Attends meetings with supervisor and construction staff regarding moves related to construction projects
- Works with Space Planning as it relates to availability of space for relocations
REQUIRED III:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Typically 3 or more years of relevant experience in assigned area
- Knowledge of relevant facilities policies and procedures
- Experience with Archibus move management and software
- Experience using computerized maintenance management system software
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Customer service orientation
- Ability to quickly troubleshoot problems
- Must work well in a team environment
- Must be detail oriented
- Ability to prioritize tasks and projects
- Must possess strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and projects at one time
- Effective interpersonal skills to coordinate efforts and work with other internal and external organizations
- Demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt to changing organizational needs
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work under minimal supervision, to self-initiate activities, and to work within timelines
- Must possess time management and project management skills
