The Implementation Specialist plays a critical role in providing world-class implementation experiences for new GoGuardian customers. She/he will drive early product education, customer satisfaction and user engagement. This is a cross-functional role that works closely with sales, customer success, technical support, marketing, and product teams.

Responsibilities

  • Guide trialing and active customers through successful product deployment and configuration for a suite of education-serving software platforms
  • Structure onboarding sessions as conversations that employ active listening and user-driven experiential learning
  • Manage onboarding workflow for a high volume of customers undergoing different stages of the sales cycle and experiencing varying levels of need
  • Act as enthusiastic, knowledgeable and empathetic brand ambassador to new and prospective customers
  • Represent early customer experience in cross-functional projects and decisions
  • Train small groups of stakeholders, pilot teachers, coaches around product setup and best practices
  • Execute on flawless handoff transitions between new business sales, implementation, success and support teams
  • Ramp up proactively when new features and products are released
  • Support initiatives to automate onboarding communications with new customers

Additional Responsibilities

  • Track success of customers post-onboarding to help foster success and renewals
  • Troubleshoot alongside the Support Team to stay abreast of customer onboarding pains
  • Cultivate and expand portfolio of user education and best practice literature in the Help Center
  • Support sales enablement in leading in-person training sessions for end-users

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a role that combines demanding project management and grit with patience and people skills
  • Prior experience in software training, K-12 teaching, adult education, implementation, technical or customer support, coaching, or IT valued, but not required
  • Clear, engaging and efficient communication skills, both spoken and written
  • Ability to quickly develop rapport and trust with a diverse customer base
  • Strong technical and analytical ability
