Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to the implementation team by building and motivating resources to meet departmental goals
- Allocate work load to fully utilize every employee's talent
- Implement development plans and coach individuals to reach their maximum talent
- Provide regular constructive feedback on performance/development and address poor/mediocre performance on a timely manner
- Recognize high performers to maintain motivation and retain key talent
- Develop strong cross functional relationships to improve the customer onboarding experience.
- Identify, manage, prevent and mitigate project risk. Escalate issues to upper management as necessary
- Demonstrate superior customer service. Identify areas of poor customer service or customer dissatisfaction and take action to correct
- Act as the escalation point when issues arise with the customer or partner on engagements
- Drive team's goals and metrics identified by Leadership including utilization
- Communicate goal results and key performance indicators including utilization to direct reports
- Deliver change management
- Oversee and instruct staff in order to achieve desired end-results on complex problems during implementation projects
- Address procedural issues and process improvements within the department and across other departments
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing a team of 10 to 15 individuals
- Proven experience to balance multiple project escalations at any given time
- Demonstrated experience communicating and presenting to a diverse set of people across groups, organizational levels and departments
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential
- Bachelor's degree and 10+ years related experience
- Knowledge/experience in Accounting, Audits, Financial Services, Software Technology, SaaS industry and/or related experience
- Professional experience in consulting, technology implementation, change management or related field expertise
- Knowledge of MS Office, MS Project, Salesforce/CRM, Accounting Software
