What You'll Do

  • Work as a member of the HR PMO team to manage projects across the HR function and bring HR proposals, ideas, and initiatives into a practical reality.

  • Responsible for the project management of global HR projects and work streams from planning through execution,

  • Leverage project management tools and methodologies to thoroughly scope projects, develop project plans, manage project execution, track, and resolve risks/issues, and provide status updates.

  • Use your broad understanding of HR, including HR processes and systems, to ensure projects integrate across functional areas and teams, both within HR and across the overall business.

  • Stage activities with relevant milestones and schedules using your strong ability to navigate and influence competing priorities.

  • Work with teams to identify contingencies, impacts and implications of a project/program and to plan accordingly

  • Ensure effective communication, including key milestones and project updates, across all stakeholders.

  • Develop change management, communication, and rollout strategies and elements to build support and momentum for projects and optimize the employee experience.

  • Continually monitor progress of projects, identifying risks and escalating as necessary, and facilitating proactive decision making across appropriate stakeholders.

  • Working with the relevant HR/project teams to ensure the delivery of milestones on time and within budget.

  • Simplify complex problems, processes, and projects into component parts, and then systematically explore and evaluate them.

  • Support the team to build frameworks to plan and manage the continuous process of change.

  • Facilitate collaboration and information sharing across the HR team.

Who You Are

  • An experienced project manager with 5+ years’ experience and a proven track record in project management within the HR and/or Talent Acquisition functions.

  • Qualified in one of the project methodologies (PMI, Prince, Six Sigma etc.) with a keen understanding of project management and best practices.

  • Practical understanding and experience across key HR functional areas, processes, and practices, including both technical and non-technical functions.

  • Experienced with change management, communication, and training, preferably in a global organization.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proven ability to work with all levels of the organization and across functional areas.

  • Agile and able to adapt as projects and priorities change and able to remain composed, positive, and gritty in the face of any setbacks or challenges.

  • Able to understand and appreciate different and opposing perspectives and to discover solutions and build consensus.

  • Generous and open communication style.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field

  • Job location: Ventura/Los Angeles or New York.
