Job Summary:

As a Senior Manager, Technical Program Management, we are looking for a seasoned leader to help build and establish our Technical Program management department. This technical leader will be responsible to oversee the development efforts and product offerings for our global iHerb e-commerce platform. This leader will be building a global team in multiple locations and manage complex initiatives across multiple locations. The ideal candidate would ideally have built globally distributed teams prior. He/she will be passionate about building great customer experiences. In addition, this individual will be hyper-focused in continuously improving our project management capabilities. Lastly, the individual will be a seasoned and versatile leader who can thrive in a dynamic environment. Job Expectations:

• Program management leadership and direction to establish best practices and standards of product delivery across the company

• Oversee the development and delivery of iHerb’s product offerings from conception to deployment

• Be a collaborative leader who can drive execution and accountability across multiple teams.

• Attract, hire, and build a globally distributed program management team

• Be an effective communication and facilitator to help cross functional teams including product, engineering, security, marketing, and customer support stay aligned and focused on successful delivery

• Expert in leading teams in both agile and waterfall methodologies

• Establish and evangelize proper change management and communication strategy for senior leaders and stakeholders

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Required:

• Experience coordinating cross functional software engineering teams.

• Experience building software engineering processes, project management, and release schedules.

• Understanding of e-commerce, retail, or wholesale industries

• Establish and track success metrics/KPIs that demonstrate the overall health of a product portfolio

• Experience with internationalization and locationalization of products of web or mobile

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

• Excellent organization skills and ability to multi-task

Equipment Knowledge:

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Experience with Google Business Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms) preferred

Experience Requirements:

• Generally requires a minimum of 8-10 years of relevant engineering experience. Technical background preferred in education or work experience.

• Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

• Experience in e-commerce, retail, wholesale industries preferred

• Establish and track success metrics/KPIs that demonstrate the overall health of a product portfolio

• Experience with internationalization and locationalization of products of web or mobile product is a plus

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred, or a combination of education and equivalent work experience).
