Job Summary: 

The Logistics Project Lead will manage and execute multiple time-sensitive projects to meet business objectives of iHerb Logistics. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer of iHerb Logistics, this position assumes primary accountability for assigned projects and manages projects from concept to deployment to ensure project goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frames. Responsibilities encompass the overall management of a project including timeline adherence, internal and external communications, risk assessment, and project scope. Logistics Project Lead also need to lead the Project Team and support iHerb Logistics management in developing and coaching the team members in iHerb Logistics. This position requires strong leadership, analytical and communication skills with advanced knowledge of Excel for data analytics. 

Job Expectations:

• Manage projects from design through implementation to support growth and operational improvements for the company
• Overseas strategic planning by way of setting the strategic direction of projects.
• Lead meetings and set expectations for the Project Team
• Utilize project management skills in gathering, documentation and analysis, risk assessment, project planning and tracking, resource allocation and conflict resolution
• Identify, drive and develop best practices, efficiencies, and project workflows
• Develops project plans which identify key issues, problems, approaches, performance metrics and resources required
• Perform day-to-day management of project development activities to include but not limited to; prioritizing, resolving issues and discrepancies as they surface
• Collaborate and synchronize project development goals with applicable stakeholders
• Ensure that projects meet deadlines through the negotiation of time commitments and resource allocation with varies departments, and escalate issues that may impact successful implementation
• Conduct data collection and analysis before, during, and after project completion
• Assign Project Specialists tasks and deadlines; provide Project Specialists proper training and resources so they can collaborate with stakeholders internally and externally
• Train Project Specialists and iHerb Logistics Team Members to manage ongoing operations of implemented solutions when necessary
• Actively participate and lead in well-formulated recommendations, identifying new opportunities and initiating action plans to improve business process

Experience Requirements:

• Requires a minimum of one (1) year of project managing experience
• Experience managing complex projects
• An applied understanding business process workflows

Education Requirements: 

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred, or a combination of education and equivalent work experience
