Engineering Program Manager

We’re looking for an Engineering Program Manager to join Snap Inc! As a member of the Snap Lab team, you will drive complex, multidisciplinary projects from conception and design to manufacturing and production. Working from our Venice, CA office, you’ll plan requirements, manage schedules, identify risks, and limit expenses. You should be someone who leads, collaborates effectively, as well as delivers clear support for all business partners.
What you’ll do:
Create project schedules that align with product requirements, technical challenges, tooling lead-times, and business needs
Communicate with the Engineering, Operations, Sales, and Marketing teams
Plan milestones, anticipate setbacks, and support troubleshooting and/or contingency plans
Drive best practices and production processes in a fast-paced production setting
Document and execute on product specifications and test plans
Develop business relationships with external partners, contractors, and vendors
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Motivational leadership and multi-disciplinary collaboration track record
Expert in schedule creation and management
Risk identification and mitigation
Design of experiments and build management
Materials planning and lead times
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or mechanical engineering — or equivalent experience
8+ years experience as a project manager across electrical, mechanical, and software engineering disciplines, preferably on consumer electronics
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven track record of interdisciplinary system integration of electrical, mechanical, and software components
Someone who has accomplishments across engineering, operations, and manufacturing project management
Experience with project/issue tracking and version control software
PMP certification
