Job Description

Be a part of a team managing strategic projects in a fast-paced environment. Our ideal candidate will have strong leadership qualities and 10 to 15+ years of agile/project/program management experience with demonstrated history of working with e-commerce companies.

What you'll do:

• Lead, manage, mentor, and build the project leadership team
• Provide leadership and guidance to the team responsible for planning and running technology projects using methodologies such as Agile/Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban or Waterfall as appropriate
• Maintain project management standard operating procedures
• Work closely with other departments, including Engineering Quality and Enterprise Infrastructure to ensure that all phases of the software development life cycle are met

• Support valuable solutions and ensure features are ordered considering initiative priorities as dictated by the Portfolio Teams; provide support and guidance and feedback to stakeholders
• Lead Program Management teams that consists of – Primary Stakeholders, Supporting Product Managers and Technical Leadership and Architecture
• Manage scope changes to Minimum Viable Product (MVP) appropriately
• Track impediments and do whatever is necessary to remove them. Communicate and escalate as required
• Coordinates with the stakeholders to ensure that the technical deliveries are in alignment with the go to market schedule (which could include Marketing/Advertising plans and/or training plans)
• Hold Teams accountable to make and meet commitments
• Provide timely information to Portfolio Management for investment decisions

Qualifications:

• 10+ years Software Project Management
• 7+ years of leadership experience at Manager/Director level running PMO organizations with distributed teams
• Possess strong working knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile/Scrum, Lean, Kanban and Waterfall
• Have a passion for light weight, effective processes and methodologies that will improve the productivity of the organization
• Hands on experience with running Scrum Teams, Program Teams and large technology initiatives
• Experience with multi-tiered project organization (SAFe or LeSS)
• Strong facilitation skills at multiple levels of an organization. Exposure to C Level preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills as necessary to communicate plans and status to all levels within the company
• Experience managing large portfolios of work spanning multiple technical and departmental disciplines
