As the Director of Payment Technology, you will manage key payment platform and hardware partnerships and design and derive transformative approaches for payment technology systems.
Appetize Technologies, Inc. is looking for a stellar Director of Payment Technology to join our growing Product Team. This role is a blend of project management and strategy by managing all aspects of our payment platform and business.
Responsibilities:

• Own all aspects of our relationships with payment gateway and technology partnerships such as; FreedomPay, Chase, BridgePay, etc. 
• Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key hardware partnerships and contribute to the development of product strategies 
• Work closely with the Appetize product team to develop innovative payment solutions and integrations for both current and prospective clients
• Thoughtful Partner engagement: Understand when to engage, who to engage and the appropriate method for the circumstances
• Produce effective results: Ensure project goals, objectives, milestones and deliverables are achieved on schedule
• Understand and instill sustainable processes to maintain PCI compliance
• Develop processes for international payments and work with the engineering team to grow this aspect of the business
• Stay on the cutting edge of innovations in the payment industry and assist Appetize in being a trendsetter in the business

 
Key Skills/Requirements:

• 7+ years of enterprise payment management experience
• Experience with leading new payment solutions implementations
• Industry understanding of POS, restaurant and retail payment management services
• Expert knowledge of PCI compliance requirements regarding core payment platform services
• Excellent teamwork skills including written and verbal communication skills
• Moderate Travel
