Creator Community Development Lead
Responsibilities
About the Team: Partnerships are a critical means by which we drive user growth, awareness, and usage of TikTok. The Content Partnerships team is seeking an enthusiastic creator community manager to support the TikTok creator strategy. You will be responsible for understanding emerging creator communities, how they address TikTok's creator ecosystem needs, reaching out to these communities directly or via agencies and developing them on TikTok as creators. This role requires a passion for creators, creativity and technology.
The ideal candidate should be a rock star who is excited working in fast-paced environments and on multiple projects simultaneously. We are looking for individuals who are flexible, can find solutions to ambiguous problems, be resourceful and bring positivity to the work environment.
Responsibilities: - Develop and executive strategies to drive community development on TikTok - Identify diverse creator communities that are aligned to the creator community strategy using data and analytical insights - Develop and execute creator programs to onboard and educate target communities on TikTok including workshops, events and marketing campaigns - Manage outreach to identified communities and onboard onto TikTok creator programs and manage a portfolio of communities across key categories to achieve KPIs, including increasing video output, viewership, audience growth and creator retention - Collaborate with the cross-functional teams (marketing, communications, music etc.) to build creator communities and amplify community efforts - Track and analyze community growth metrics to unearth creator insights and to adjust strategies accordingly - Work collaboratively with cross-functional partners to develop and implement creative ways to improve and amplify community growth.
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications: - BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience - 5+ years experience working in community management, talent management, agency, partner/program management - Deep understanding of the online creator landscape and solid experience working with online video creators - Project management and strategic development experience - Excellent written, verbal, and professional communication skills - Superior attention-to-detail, multi-tasking, and time management skills - A team player who is accountable, proactive, and solution-oriented
