Ring is looking to hire a Community Partnerships Manager to join the Neighborhoods team. The Neighborhoods department combines innovative Ring technology with strong community partnerships to fulfill our mission of reducing crime in neighborhoods. As a Community Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for establishing partnerships with local city government. The cities we work with are much more than a customer or client–they’re a partner. Every new opportunity represents a strategic partnership in which both sides share a common goal: safer communities and happier residents. 

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed established targets for activity (prospecting, account management, etc.) and productivity (account acquisition.)
• Communicate actionable feedback and suggestions around effectively managing new partnerships, as well as existing.
• Make informed decisions around future partnerships; work cross functionally with Data and Business Intelligence teams to help define metrics for measuring the impact of active partnerships.
• Train entry or junior level team members.
• Perform other department and company related tasks or projects.
• 20%-30% travel. Domestic only.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field and/or years of experience equivalent
• 5+ years in Outside Sales, Account Management, Client Services, or Inside Sales.
• Experience in cold calling, prospecting, and growing accounts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Entrepreneurial mindset
• Experience working and/or partnering with local municipalities.
• Ability to multi-task while remaining detail oriented and objectively driven
• Self-starter that thrives in fast-paced environments
• Demonstrate a history of successful negotiations with key decision makers that involve high-value and/or complex deal structures.
• Strong written and verbal communication. Should be able to present and discuss partnership opportunities with senior level representatives from all accounts.
• Ability to travel extensively throughout the U.S. automobile and plane
• Ability to work outside of typical business hours if needed by an account or the company.
