We are looking for an entrepreneurial, organized and data-driven Senior Marketing Project Manager, Brand & Content to lead scoping, managing and executing content development across photography, video and copy by leveraging internal and external partners.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing Operations, you will support the Content Marketing team in the development and production of content campaigns across multiple marketing channels. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and day-to-day management of the campaign development process, working with the rest of the Content Marketing team, other internal stakeholders (such as Channel Marketing, Mass Marketing, Design, Video Production, etc.) and external agencies and third-party content developers.

Success in this role requires seeing the big picture, defining specific goals for each campaign, building programs and processes to scale, and then rolling up your sleeves and executing in a rapidly changing environment. The candidate must be an independent, creative problem-solver with a proven ability to navigate tough deadlines and be able to lead multiple projects simultaneously. The candidate must also have proven data analysis skills and be able to support the team in making informed decisions based on hard data.

Our team thrives in ambiguity, we are not afraid of inventing new processes from scratch, and we acknowledge that we may need to break a few things to find the right business models to succeed. We are a hard driving, informal and good-natured bunch – and we are looking for people that are passionate about what they do and want to have fun while they do it.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned project manager, with prior experience in the smart home or consumer electronics industry. He or she excels in fast-paced and challenging environments and is comfortable thinking big while executing details to perfection.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the planning and day-to-day operations of content marketing campaigns, from concept through delivery.
  • Conduct post-campaign analysis to measure the success of each campaign, and present learnings to internal teams to help inform future business decisions.
  • Work closely with the Content Marketing team to develop effective marketing campaigns that will have the highest business impact.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the Design, Development, Video Production, Marketing & Social Media teams to coordinate and manage all ongoing and upcoming content initiatives.
  • Prioritize, scope and deliver content marketing projects in partnership with internal teams and external partners.
  • Schedule new content marketing campaigns and plan resources accordingly to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Manage and update internal campaign communication and delivery tools to ensure all teams involved are updated and well-informed of the status of ongoing projects.
  • Lead project kick-off meetings and guide the review and approval process for campaign brief and campaign deliverables.
  • Developing an evaluation method to assess campaign strengths and identify areas for improvement.
  • Onboard new processes, tools and workflows to improve the content team’s efficiency and efficacy.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures and roll-out, especially in relation to new processes.
  • Leverage technology and process innovation to bring continuous improvement to the operation (scalability, efficiency, scope, etc.).

Key Qualifications

  • 7+ years of demonstrable experience in brand marketing, product marketing, or digital marketing
  • 5+ years of experience in project management (PMP certification a plus)
  • Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to untangle complex problems
  • Ability to deal with ambiguous problems and build solutions with proper project management
  • Excellent workflow and project management skills, with a strong attention to detail
  • Aptitude for being organized with flexibility and for delivering results in a fast-paced environment
  • Track record of cross-functional team leadership and ability to influence stakeholders in making data-driven decisions
  • Relentless customer focus
  • The ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization/time management and problem-solving skills
