Reporting to the Senior Director of Growth Marketing, this position is focused on GoGuardian’s teacher advocates, making them feel prepared and brilliant when using GoGuardian Teacher in their classrooms or training their colleagues on these platforms. This person will deliver training virtually and on-site, and create opportunities for meaningful engagement within the advocates community. The Advocates Lead is a gregarious teacher who can not only inspire other teachers to use GoGuardian Teacher features, but also give them confidence using technology and incorporating best teaching practices rooted in pedagogy into their lessons.

What You'll Do

  • Support, Maintain, and Expand Advocates Programs
  • GoGuardian Teacher Coach Program
  • Manage the application process for new advocate cohorts
  • Review and provide feedback on trainee work Induct trainees after completing the program
  • Continue to engage advocates after graduation
  • Work with the Revenue and Product teams to identify participants who may qualify for higher-tier program opportunities
  • Manage a recertification program to ensure past coaches are still engaged
  • Ensure there are trained Pear Deck Coaches in Pear Deck’s Top 100 districts and beyond
  • MVP Club

  • Maintain a database of advocates with a general sense of their activity level and engagement
  • Work with Growth Marketing Team to identify opportunities for program expansion and drive development of new initiatives
  • Provide ongoing opportunities for advocates to represent GoGuardian at conferences, virtual events, blog content, focus groups, and over social media
  • Maintain budget and provide ROI of program activities
  • Develop and Deliver trainings

  • Present trainings to educators and external partners
  • Work with Advocates team to develop new trainings and update existing offerings
  • Partner with third party professional development providers to ensure their Pear Deck trainings align with current brand standards and feature offerings
  • Create presenter notes and other supporting resources to make trainings more successful
  • Provide internal cross-team trainings for new hires as needed
  • Create messaging and scripts for Pear Deck team members attending conferences and events
  • Be a Brand Advocate

  • Work with the marketing team to represent GoGuardian through Social Media channels
  • Contribute thought leadership editorial content
  • Build a thriving community through Slack and various connection channels with advocates groups

Who You Are

  • Program management: you can write a project brief and engage cross-functional teams
  • Written communication skills: you will author monthly newsletters, daily Slack prompts, thought leadership blog articles
  • Natural leadership: with passion, enthusiasm, gregariousness you’ll be inspiring other teachers daily
  • Tech savvy: aside from deep knowledge of GoGuardian Teacher, you’ll also be training teachers through online webinars, and be regularly incorporating new ideas and technologies into your workflow
  • Teaching experience: you know and understand the life of a teacher
  • Instructional design: experience developing and delivering lesson plans for K12 or adult learners
  • Public speaking: you command the stage and feel comfortable in front of a crowd or camera
