JOB DESCRIPTION
The Summer Project Coordinator Intern will support Silk’s project management team in the coordination and execution of digital commerce projects. This internship is designed for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual interested in gaining hands-on experience within a fast-paced digital agency environment.
Working closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams, the intern will assist in keeping projects organized, on track, and moving toward successful completion while learning core project management principles.
This internship is designed to provide meaningful, hands-on experience and growth opportunities within Silk. High-performing interns who demonstrate strong organizational skills, initiative, and alignment with our team may be considered for future full-time opportunities upon completion of the program.
Responsibilities:
- Support Project Managers with project coordination, timelines, and task tracking
- Assist in maintaining project documentation, meeting notes, and status updates
- Help monitor project schedules and flag potential timeline risks or blockers
- Coordinate with internal teams including design, development, and QA to ensure deliverables are progressing as planned
- Participate in internal and client meetings as needed and document key action items
- Assist with project scope documentation, requirements gathering, and organization
- Help ensure project files and materials are current and properly stored
- Support quality assurance processes, testing, and documentation where needed
- Conduct industry and competitor research to support client and project initiatives
- Provide general support to the Project Management team
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong problem-solving skills
- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred:
- Interest in project management, eCommerce, or web development
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana, Jira
- Exposure to eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, or BigCommerce is a plus
- Previous internship, campus leadership, or project experience preferred but not required

- Full-time internship for Summer 2026 with potential to transition into full time role
