About the role:

Skydio is looking for a driven Program Manager with a deep sense of ownership to lead and drive all aspects of implementation and delivery of Skydio products to Government and Commercial customers in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. You will be Skydio’s primary customer liaison and broadly responsible for the success of our accounts in the region and associated contracts to include: cost, performance, scheduling, project planning, technical execution, contract compliance, risk management and problem solving. Internally, you work hand in hand with APAC Regional Managers, Sales, Solutions Engineering, Product Management, and Manufacturing Operations to develop plans, solve problems and communicate risk and progress up to the executive level. A successful candidate will become an indispensable bridge between the customer and Skydio’s extremely agile and world class technical teams. This role reports to the Head of Mission Success Programs and will work closely with our Product, Engineering and Sales functions to deliver industry leading autonomous solutions to drive customer outcomes and Mission Success. 

How you'll make an impact:

  • Be a highly collaborative, requirements driven planner with a deep sense of ownership and accountability with a willingness to roll up sleeves and dive into the details.
  • Understand customer contract and compliance requirements and translate them to Skydio’s agile product and technical teams to drive development and delivery execution. 
  • Inform Skydio business and program leaders regarding contract management risks and opportunities, ensuring a coordinated and comprehensive approach to product delivery across the program.
  • Work directly with value added reseller partners across APAC to fulfill customer demands that adhere to contractual, legal and regulatory requirements
  • Develop Healthy Customer Relationships through proactive support and cadence based follow ups
  • Ensure teams (internal and external) have the tools and information required for program success. This includes facilitating alignment on program and project status, risks, timelines, and issues.
  • Create and foster customer loyalty through proactive support and account management
  • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews and customer check-ins to ensure existing customers are realizing the value and experiencing a ROI from Skydio technology
  • Drive expansions and renewals through proactive support.

What makes you a good fit:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a strong focus on project management tools and concepts
  • Successful management of contracts and/or programs within the commercial and government markets
  • Ability to address complex procurement and contract compliance related matters and recommend solutions
  • Experience with International Sales programs in the APAC region is strongly desired.
  • Experience working with value added resellers and partners to deliver and support products to end customers
  • Experience in implementing effective internal business systems, processes and controls for management of large scale customer programs. 
  • Experience with government and commercial Unmanned Aircraft Systems and related software development. 
  • Proven track record of driving implementation, adoption and value of hardware or software.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must be based in the APAC region (Taiwan, Singapore, Korea, or Japan)
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time 
  • Ability to obtain FAA Part 107 Certification

Compensation Range: The annual base salary range for this position is $1,358,323 NT  - $1,811,096* NT . Compensation will vary based on factors, including skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and experience. 

*For some positions the pay may be dependent upon the individual's regional location.
