Job Summary
Under the direction of the Manager of Talent and Organizational Development, the Program Manager- Executive Coaching manages various aspects of coaching & executive development. This includes assessing, designing, developing, and measuring Coaching outcomes. This role also includes overseeing a team of executive coaches (internal and external). In addition, the Program Manager-Executive Coaching will be responsible for supporting & executing organizational development initiatives.
Essential Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Manager of Talent and Organization Development, manages all aspects of the Coaching Practice.

  • Examples include and are not limited to:
  • Gathering & evaluating best practice research & bringing innovative coaching & executive development practices to the firm
  • Conducting comprehensive assessments and analyses to identify areas for improvement within the current coaching practice and its offerings.
  • Administering & Co-ordinating multiple groups of identified coachees. This includes reaching out to leaders, seeking nominations, prioritizing coachees and all aspects of program management.
  • Maintaining a roster of vetted external executive coaches and providing direction to them to align their coaching methods with the internal coaching practice.
  • Supporting the development of coaching and/or leadership expertise throughout the firm in collaboration with Talent & Culture's processes and initiatives.


Supports the organization by assessing the current state of Coaching & executive development.

  • Reviews and updates the internal coaching practice by assessing the Internal and external landscape.
  • Assesses & benchmarks the current state of coaching & executive development and executes the strategic roadmap.
  • Reviews and sets metrics in place to evaluate & measure business impact of the coaching practice. Uses data and analytics to evaluate effectiveness of the coaching engagements.
  • Supports the development, certification and provide on-going guidance for internal coaching resources.


Designs and develops executive coaching and executive development experiences.

  • Provides coaching expertise for executive development candidates who have chosen internal coaching vs external coaching.
  • Designs and develops a Partner Coaching process in collaboration with Talent and Culture processes and initiatives.
  • Designs executive development experiences/paths that align with Wipfli's partner personas.
  • Delivers group coaching & team coaching experiences, in collaboration with the T & OD and HRBA team in response to firm-wide objectives.
  • Provides coaching expertise for targeted individuals/key players to assist in supporting their career, performance and or goal achievement.


Supports & executes organizational development systems and processes.

  • Collaborating with firm leadership to Identify and develop high potential associates for key roles & succession planning.
  • Implementing a robust self and 360 assessment portfolio as part of organizational development.
  • Collaborating with the Sr. specialist Organizational development to deepen connections between the Internal coaching practice & leadership development.
  • Introducing and/or supporting strategic & Innovative approaches to coaching, taking the idea from pilot to execution.
  • Collaborating and supporting Talent and Organizational Development training initiatives, facilitation needs, and other projects as determined.

Required Qualifications/experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related or organizational development field.
  • International Coaching Federation certification- PCC
  • 10+ years overall experience.
  • 5+ years of coaching experience.
  • 5+ years of managing assessments and conducting post-debrief dialogues.
  • Proven ability to facilitate and/or train in various settings.


Preferred Qualifications/experience:

  • International Coaching Federation certification- MCC
  • Master's degree in a business-related or organizational development field
  • Certifications In 360 assessments such as Benchmarks 360, Hogan etc.
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization.


Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work effectively.
  • Ability to balance many projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work under pressure and time deadlines.
  • Ability to analyze data and recommend solutions.
  • Excellent written, Verbal and Presentation skills both in person & virtual
  • Advanced in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Proficient in Word and Outlook.

Wipfli supports equal pay for equal work and values each candidate's unique experiences and skill sets. The estimated pay range for this position is: $97,000 - $130,000. Compensation within the range is determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, individuals' skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, business needs and applicable employment laws.
Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.
