System1 is looking for a Sr Manager of Product & Technology to help build and innovate our digital advertising platform! We are a dynamic and fast paced environment running publishing services, advertising services, and delivering engaging user experiences that attract tens of millions of users per month. System1, as a data driven organization, leverages detailed interaction data with a sophisticated A/B testing platform in order to improve and optimize our consumers’ experiences. This role will lead our efforts to build out our multi-year strategy for our advertising platform.

The Role You Will Have

• Display Tech Platform Leadership
• Own and manage System1’s display advertising platform - powering display ad monetization for our owned & operated and network of partner sites
• Build strategic roadmaps and meaningful milestones to continually scale, improve, and innovate System1 advertising services
• Work with Product teams to integrate advertising services seamlessly into System1 product lines in order to deliver new features, gather feedback, and monitor health and stability
• Work with Engineering teams to build, maintain, support, triage, and innovate emerging and industry standard features of an industry leading ad serving platform
• Monetization Strategy
• Own and execute a strategy that navigates the drivers of supply, demand, and ad placement to drive our revenue strategy, including:
• Ad format and partner mix
• Inventory segmentation and price flooring
• Bidder optimization
• Ad product and tech advancement initiatives

What You Will Bring

• Desire to own, drive, and scale the display monetization strategy for a large publishing business
• 8+ years' experience building and executing software roadmaps, preferably with extensive experience in the display advertising space
• Expertise working with major platforms in the display advertising ecosystem, including Header Bidding, as well as established relationships with advertising exchanges, DSPs and SSPs
• Analytical experience and business insight: Hands-on experience in online advertising pricing and yield management is helpful
