An Insider's view of Ranker

How does your team reward individual success?

What I love about being a part of Ranker's Audience Development team is that one person's success is celebrated not just as a personal victory, but as a triumph for our whole team. Every day we are encouraged to step outside of the box and speak our minds; to be creative and analytical without fear of rejection.

Amanda Bennett

Audience Development Specialist

What projects are you most excited about?

The best part about working at Ranker is the wide variety in the types of projects we might work on. We could be working on a traffic arbitrage system one week and creating big data management systems the next. Our latest project is a soon-to-be-released TV recommendation app that utilizes the latest in web development and machine learning tech.

Skylar Wolf

Senior Software Engineer

How does the company support your career growth?

Ranker offers me the opportunity to flourish in a completely original creative manner. Working here has provided me with the opportunity to cover a large array of subjects I'm passionate about such as pop-culture and entertainment. By treating my voice and skill sets as an asset to the company, I have been given a sense of freedom and growth.

Erin Maxwell

Entertainment Editor

What is your vision for the company?

Our focus for 2020 is expanding Ranker beyond our high-trafficked site (Quantcast Top 50) via growing video, globalization, licensing Rankings IP, growing the Ranker Insights business unit and most importantly, launching a new game-changing personalized TV recommendations app.

What's something quirky about your company?

At Ranker, we are all about votable lists. We even have an enormous, interactive list on display in our lobby — anyone at the office can arrange the items on the list to their own taste. Anything from top sitcom moms to fictional pets you'd love to have, there's always a good debate going on. We even vote on our favorite catered lunches!
