We are seeking a motivated, resourceful, creative, and results-driven consumer senior product manager to drive the product strategy and execution of our digital automotive marketplace. 

You will work hand-in-hand with software engineers, business stakeholders, and partners to build engaging products that deliver high value to users, customers, and the business. You get stuff done and done well, and you have an inherent sense of urgency. You will provide leadership across functional teams to conceptualize, build, and deliver great products and features. You chase down answers, locate resources, and overcome obstacles while creating positive relationships across the organization. Ultimately you hold yourself accountable for the results you deliver. 

The Role You Will Have

  • Gain a deep understanding of user and customer experience, identify and fill product gaps
  • Generate and execute new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience, and drive business growth
  • Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
  • Develop product business models and positioning strategies
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
  • Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
  • Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
  • Manage the product backlog
  • Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding
  • Coordinate and facilitate sprint/release planning meetings, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, release notes, and demos

What You Will Bring

  • 5+ years of product management experience with consumer digital websites and/or apps
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • An analytical and data-driven decision-maker
  • You have a relentless focus on results with a history of exceeding expectations
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate recommendations to senior management
  • Working with remote/distributed teams a plus
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing or equivalent experience

He was able to balance his work at System1 with assignments and studying, and now, he’s implementing what he learned on the job. Currently, he and the data science team are working on an algorithm to optimize System1’s advertising on a new network. Their custom-built machine learning infrastructure makes it easy to deploy new algorithms and track performance.
