About This Role

We are seeking a motivated, collaborative, and detail-oriented candidate with a background in product management to work with the Product team at Apeel Sciences. The Regional Product Manager will be responsible for new product introductions, providing voice-of-the-customer, working with product development, and ensuring successful products for our customers, working within Apeel’s Product Life Cycle process.

What You'll Do

• Create and manage new products using Apeel’s Product Life Cycle process
• Determine the value creation of Apeel’s technology for new produce categories
• Understand supplier’s quality and operational requirements, business needs, and challenges
• Understand retailer’s business drivers, opportunities, and challenges
• Clearly communicate voice-of-the-customer
• Create successful development, validation, launch, and scaling plans along with Apeel’s technology, operations, sales and marketing teams
• Working as a regional product development team with along with Apeel field scientists
• Support Apeel sales team with product expertise and technical support
• Provide new product opportunities to the Product team

What You Bring 

• Engineering or science bachelor’s degree plus MBA or 3+ years of business experience
• Technology management, product management, and/or business development with direct customer experience
• The ideal candidate will be a critical thinker and doer with a “roll-up-your- sleeves” attitude to work successfully in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated to meet deliverables and/or bring teams together to meet deliverables
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, strong bias towards data driven decision- making
• Inquisitive, listening, and learning mentality 
• Effective written and verbal communication as well as presentation skills to both customers and Apeel team members
• Fluent in Spanish and English required
