Hitwise, a division of Connexity, empowers brands to put intelligence from extensive consumer insights and the largest panel of online consumer measurement to use to help marketers build, segment, understand, and activate their own custom audiences.  We combine shopping, demographic, behavioral and market research data into a single platform, giving our clients a wealth of information about their perfect target audience as well as their competitor's.

Due to our expansion, we're looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager who is knowledgeable and passionate about data and insights. You'll be at the driver's seat of new and existing product adoption, focusing on identifying key market needs, and setting the strategies to unlock growth. Our ideal champion knows data, understands ad technology and wants to be at the forefront of creating new ways for marketers to engage with their ideal consumers.

You'll play a critical role in both developing and executing the overall marketing strategy and lead the development of positioning and go-to-market strategy within different verticals and markets. You'll create value props, gather info to drive new product features, drive internal/external evangelism and develop sales materials. This position will include competitive positioning, and be cross-functional to span marketing, sales, client services, and product development while reporting directly to the VP of Global Marketing. 

This is a full time position based in our Santa Monica office.

Responsibilities: 

    • Develop optimized product positioning and messaging for specific markets and audiences across multiple channels
    • Conduct market and competitor research to extract key capabilities, differentiators, and use cases
    • Create a marketing program that delivers vertical use cases and applications to all core markets
    • Enable Go-to-Market teams with high-value sales tools, including presentations, product guides, and sales collateral
    • Provide sales training on how to position our Hitwise product
    • Be the go-to expert on product marketing strategy execution - driving alignment across the product, marketing and sales teams 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years work experience in software, technology, and/or marketing
  • BA/BS degree
  • You must have experience working in B2B technology
  • Experience with analytics and digital insights strongly preferred
  • Experience contributing at both strategic and operational levels
  • Experience simplifying concepts and communicating per audience's needs
  • Experience in executing go-to-market strategies
